Pasture Flooding

Good drainage of pastures is essential. Pastures near rivers have a good chance of flooding and can be seasonal and extensive. 

Here are some flooded pastures which are useless.  However, the remaining 11 months of the year are fertile and support the horses.  Sometimes you need to be flexible. However, with the help of a field engineer (and money), most wet fields can be effectively drained using tiles and divergence materials.
