Dealing with flies has always been a problem. However I have not seen a problem with horses ingesting any significant amount of residual sprays. My wife has been spraying our horses for decades. But this really doesn’t prove anything so I would also… Read more

Using anything to clean a wound before granulation tissue forms and the new epithelial cells haven’t formed is OK with me. Personally I like a soap such as an iodine / povodine scrub plus physical abrasion as long as the horse will stand for it.
