Maxillary caps (58 & 68) that caused maxillary eruption lumps. Also 77 & 87 fractured caps. Also 2 wolf teeth. Caps are “baby” teeth that are ejected in every horse from 2 1/2 years to 4 1/2 years of age. There are 12 cheek teeth and 12 incisors that shed baby teeth during this time.
