I agree. Tires are usually rated by miles driven on them but there is also an age expiration. It seems costly to replace a tire that “looks good” but in reality, replacing them after a period of disuse is important.
Having “more truck than trailer” is a safety consideration especially with mountain driving. You will recoup the cost when you…

A 2 string bale is about 40 pounds so 50 bales to the ton (2000 pounds). At least that was the way when they started baling hay regularly back in the 1960’s.
