  1. 💜💕♥️💛💚💙💜. Beautiful – I pray David is well. He is warming other people’s hearts knowing his difficlt journey. Thank you for sharing .

  2. You are a blessed man! Best wishes for David on getting his Tesla heart into an anatomically correct one!
Interested on learning more about the alfalfa shreds with soybean meal me Donny produces!

    1. Thanks for reading!

Mr Donny says he is willing to ship anywhere but the minimum is 1500 pounds. He also says he doesn’t want to get too big. Maybe there needs to be another option. For now, you can add soy bean meal (as meal or as a pellet) and alfalfa (hay, cubes, pellet) and you should get the same results.

  3. It’s good to hear people embracing the art of gratitude. So many times people forget to be grateful for what they have been given, it’s sad but I see that everyday. Whether what we have been given is material, spiritual or emotional, we should all find a way to be grateful, even when our day starts with a rock to the windshield. Thank you for sharing this with us and your kindness with David. You had a huge impact on David’s life and you have a great impact on your readers. God bless you and may God grant all of David’s wishes.

  4. WOW such a GREAT story – on all counts. And you continued to pay it forward by sharing it with us 🙂 Thank you

  5. Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed your story. It is amazing how God works through each of us. Praying for you and your 17 year old pal. Peace be with you my friend!

  6. Thanks for posting this doc. I wish more people would look at the glass half full. You are a great person and I am better for knowing you and calling you my friend. Thanks Paulette

  7. Hi Doc T! What wonderful blessings were showered on so many people that day. God is so good!
I have a question. You mentioned a “protein supplement made of shredded alfalfa and soybean meal pellets” called Doc T’s Magic Mix. Where/how does soybean fit into the no grain formula? Thanks, Marie

  8. Beautiful story! Thanks for sharing and reminding us all to count our blessings. Didn’t figure you for a Tesla guy — I almost bought one, but the range and power station availability didn’t fit with places and distances I drive. Awesome vehicle!

    1. You’re welcome – but what type of guy do you think I am? You know I’m a geek (run 5 websites, started with social media in 2007, the latest Mac products). So why not a Tesla? about 290 miles and I run up and down the east coast as well as Louisiana – about 60,000 miles a year. Plus the only 5 star safety rating AND cheaper than a GMC diesel pickup at 5 years (no fuel or oil or DEF). But you still are right – a Peterbilt does run deep in my blood (drove one of those too!).

  9. Oh gosh loved this story thanks for sharing! My family drove a tesla in LA amazing and scary acceleration!More about the feed please article

  10. Many grateful thanks for sharing from your heart. My heart is still broken from loosing my very close 8 yo grandson almost 3 Yrs ago. My youngest daughter was signalling to turn off the hwy we live off, when a 26 yo women with her 6 yo rear ended my daughter smashing her Taurus in half and killing her only child. She can’t have anymore. She lives with my husband and I where my abused and neglected 2 equine and 2 puppies (my therapy) are helping to heal our dead hearts. One pup died from eating rocks. My mom, 2 dear friends, 3 dear cats also have died since. Life couldn’t be more challenging. It helps to read uplifting reads of yours and others. A day at a time is all I can muster. Hard physical work caring for as many animals as I can on a tiny budget keeps me from plunging to dark depths of dispair. Not always successful, but never having owned a horse before has been salvation! Sincerely, Lea B.

    1. I’m glad this story helped you smile. Life keeps pitching baseballs and some are curves and hard to hit. We need to keep swinging because those who are gone probably wouldn’t want us to quit trying.

  11. What a wonderful story!! We never know when we will have a chance to pay it forward, but by acknowledging the good we receive it makes us more aware of when those chances present themselves. Things have a way of falling into place often after what we see as an initial setback. If we are willing to wait it out, things usually work out better than we had hoped. Helping David mark something off his bucket list is huge. (I had no idea Tesla was in the heart computer chip business…) It would be nice to know when David gets his heart transplant. What a great day!!!

    1. Thanks Tina – I had no idea either about Tesla and the heart chip business. I never verified it. Maybe he will read this and let us all know.

  12. Such a amazing story. God just knows how to line everything just right. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I pray that David finds his heart.
