    1. Thanks and glad you like the photos. It had been overcast and raining all day. We were heading to the last call just before sunset when the sun broke through the clouds for just a moment. I couldn’t find a place to pull off right away. When I did, I scrambled onto someone’s property and dove into their woods to find a view that had both the rainbow and the sun-lit autumn leaves but avoided the houses and utility wires. The sun disappeared moments after this shot, and the wind, rain and darkness enveloped me into the pre-winter clutch of the northeast.
