Doc-t replied to the discussion pre and probiotic in the forum Horse Care, Barn & Farm Topics a year ago

The fall and spring equinox is a period of transitional heat during which the ovaries become erratic in egg development.… Read more

Kerry started the discussion pre and probiotic in the forum Horse Care, Barn & Farm Topics a year ago
hi @Doc-t my 10 yo TB ex-racer has a tilted pelvis and his bodywork lady has recommended a pre- and probiotic during spring and autumn during the seasonal changes to help support his gut because pelvic asymmetry could be causing gut and hindgut discomfort which potentially could be causing his behavioural issues when ridden. Doc-t replied to the discussion SBM for human consumption in the forum No Grain Challenge a year ago
@Lynne Competitive vegetarian bodybuilders prefer soy as their protein source because of the complete amino acid profile. I read this recently. Dr Gabrielle Lyon is a good source of info for human protein research. https://drgabriellelyon.com/
Humans who don’t do well with legumes are better off with meat or whey protein.

Given the dietary attributes of SBM for horses and livestock, is it an appropriate source of protein for humans?
Seeing the concrete positive changes in my horses since November 2024, makes me consider if I should try eating the same product. Of course, there does not exist such a product for human consumption, however, it would not be the… Read more
