  Winter is Coming!

  Yes, that’s right—winter. Some of us enjoy a relatively mild winter, but many of us have to make extra considerations to prepare our farms for the colder months. Join me in discussing what we need to do for our horses, barns, and farms to prepare for the winter months. You might just learn a few good tips. Of course, bring your questions so we can all learn from unique examples.

  I only have the video without timestamps this time; however, this Rounds Eith Doc T is essentially in two parts.

  Part one is all about winter care for horses. Wherever you see the whiteboard with my writing, you will find information on water, wind, ventilation, blanketing, and nutrition. There is one more part on blanketing I talk about towards the end of the Rounds.

  The second part, where you see me without the whiteboard, is where I discuss with an attendee some new and intricate aspects of nutrition, especially how fructose helps horses survive and how they can make fructose.
