This meeting had some technical glitches, but through luck and some technology, it will be hard to notice exactly what happened. Thanks to all attendees who graciously waited for me to regain composure, moving on with all your questions.
There are no timestamps on this one. The subjects covered are about our horses’ metabolism, including weight loss and a protein review. It is a collection of many previous thoughts, with an equal number of new ideas incorporated to help us better understand these subjects. I hope you enjoy and learn from our night’s discussion. Doc T

A new vet joined the vet practice I use and she has been assigned to me. I like her willingness to listen to what I am doing with Wren. She approves the diet but mentioned I can’t get all amino acids from one source and suggested InsulinWise along with the SBM.
I did a bit of research comparing the amino acids in both. I found 10 in SBM and 8 in IW with only two in common. Is there an advantage to using both? If my list is correct, 6 would still be missing.
My horse had a mild setback this fall but he is still healthier than past years. He has been on the THA only one year. (I became a bit too confident in his positive health changes and he was out all night for several weeks in September while we were away.)
