ANNOUNCEMENT – The next Rounds will be on Wednesday, November 22nd, the day BEFORE Thanksgiving. There will be trivia questions, giveaways, and other unique things to lighten the tone of these rounds, and this is our way of thanking all who have attended or replayed these Rounds With Doc T.

00:30 – Underbite in a horse (the question is muffled and hard to understand, but we get through it – go to 02:33 for my interpretation). The difference between an underbite and sow mouth, the reason for incisors in horses, incisor reduction, and why I do not perform this procedure.

26:45 – Using rainwater for horses – Do horses get minerals from collected rainwater rather than from pumping it from the ground? This goes into a broader discussion of minerals and their absorption and my thoughts on the validity of mineral and other nutritional studies.

38:05 – Horses eating muck – are they looking for something missing in their diet?

42:45 – Contracted tendons in young horses. The actual cause of this and other developmental orthopedic diseases in growing horses.

52:25 – I talk about the podcasts I did reviewing the Florida Association of Equine Practitioners annual meeting.
