  10:04 – My mini is a Pinto, brown on white so his hooves are quite light in colour.  He has bruises and an abscess as well.  What can I do to heal these bruises  and to prevent them from reappearing?

  18:53 – If a horse is on Prascend for PPID, is it possible with the correct diet, over time, to reduce the need for medication?

  39:51 – My 25 yo AQH is currently on his side with a bout of laminitis/abscesses. He is seriously metabolic. I have had him 3 years – so obv this came with him. He’s on a low carb diet. He is bright, eating, drininking, pooping etc. He gets up every hour or so, moves around & then lies back down. Temp is under control. Resp is fine. I am totally OK giving him as much time as he needs. Has anyone had a similar experience?

  he has alfalfa, SBM & hoof supplement since i’ve had him. Alternate dry/wet conditions have not helped hoof condition.

  btw – we’ve xrayed his feet 3 times this week. there is a little bit of rotaion, no sinking and very little change through the 3 sets of xrays. can still see some wide abscesses in sole.

  55:15 – Is there any data out there to support a forage first diet and that elimination of grains improves horse health. Even after a year plus, I still get push back on what I’m doing with my horse… and he looks fabulous! The proof is in the pudding I say but I’d love to be able to say, here, read this.

  1:06:34 – I have a 3 year old Fjord/quarter horse cross.  I have been feeding 1# SBM/day and free choice low glucose hay.  Should I start limiting her hay like I do with the older Fjords?  To prevent future problems.

  1:10:08 – Should wolf teeth be extracted? Do mares have canine teeth?
