0:01:04 – A discussion of the horses I have seen in my dentistry practice this past week. Just some interesting things.
0:04:18 – Blood glucose, Insulin Resistance, and metabolic syndrome in horses. What is the difference between 1 teaspoon of sugar floating free in your blood and 1 1/2 teaspoons? It is the difference, in humans, between normal blood glucose and having Type 2 diabetes. That isn’t much.
0:17:29 – “My question: With soaked hay and no pasture due to sore feet, will a horse become deficient in vitamins/minerals over time?
If I understand correctly, until metabolic issues improve due to SBM and diet, supplementing vitamins/minerals probably wouldn’t help much anyway?” -
