Rosie Pope from Florida
Hi everyone! I am very excited to be a part of this community. As a member, I hope to learn more about horses that can help me in everyday barn life and in my career as an Equine Dentist.
I am 22 years old with a Bachelors Degree in Equine Studies and a Certified Level 1 dental graduate through Dr. Tucker’s equine horsemanship dentistry school. I have been an equine dentist since December 2019. I have always wanted to help animals since I was little and have been a huge advocate for them. Now I get to live and fulfill the duty of being a horses advocate everyday and it’s changed my life for the better. In just the short time of being a horse dentist I have been able to remove the oral pain in so many horses and see that response of gratitude through their eyes and body language. It is a feeling that can’t be explained and is what fuels me to continue to work hard and find more horses and owners to help.
I live in Port Saint Lucie, Florida with my parents and my 2 wonderful dogs, Allie the West Highland Terrier, and Shayna the Chihuahua. I also have 2 bearded dragons, 1 snake, 1 rabbit, 2 quails, and a quarter horse. Everyone calls my home the Pope’s Mini Zoo!
