Hello from the Caribbean
Hi, my name is Jaxson, I am Jamaican, currently in Trinidad, where I just completed my final year of Veterinary school (YAY). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Equine Management from UMD (2015) and a Master’s in Equine Reproductive Physiology from LSU (2016).
I’m a proud rescue dad and in my free time I enjoy reading, playing video games and volunteering with non-profit organisations. When I’m at home in Jamaica I spend most of my time at the thoroughbred breeding farm and the racetrack.
I’ve sadly only gotten to the first level of Doc’s Dentistry program, due to school and COVID, hoping to make a visit soon.

Welcome Jax!! And congratulations on completing your veterinary degree! Nice photos of you showing off your hand in the mouth and the 306 filing. Good job.
Whenever you are ready to return for that 3-in-a-row exam, just say so. Until then, keep practicing on those Thoroughbreds at the track.

Thank you very much for having me, happy to be here!! “Respect ! *Jamaican accent* ” Been practicing whenever possible despite the lockdowns. I hope to see ya’ll a little later this year if all goes well with my plans, and please tell Melissa hi back for me ! I’ll know more about possible travel dates once I get home and that way I can bring some Jamaican patties. 😁
