    Hello everyone! My name is Sandy. I have 3 horses, 2 Missouri Fox Trotters, 1 mare and 1 gelding who is the sire of the mare (he was gelded shortly after he “accidentally” bred a mare when he was 18 months old). My other horse is an OTTB mare who raced until she was 8 yrs. old. I am a life long horsewoman who has dabbled in a bit of everything from mounted shooting to fox hunting. My passion is classical dressage. I’m overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the information packed into this site and will be spending a lot of time digging into all the topics.

    Hi Sandy, Welcome! I have always wanted to try mounted shooting! Sounds like fun. At the moment I am interested in endurance riding – but I am in need of a new horse!

      Mounted shooting is a wonderful sport full of wonderful people. I would like to try endurance or distance riding with my OTTB.
