Hey There I am a new member and have a question…
Please see test where my mare scored a 48.9 on her ACTH test June 5th, I put her on soy bean Meal and started soaking the hay. The other test is from last week in which she came in at 33.2.
1) I don’t undertand the “suggested grey zones”
2) my vet tells me that soaking the hay over 2 hours will take the nutrients out… if you google it, google tells you to only soak for like an hour or two. BUt after listening to Doc T and G Teall I don’t think soaking the hay for longer is an issue. IS this true?
I know its a different angle but my mare looks so much better and look at the coat she is shedding… she has started to sweat again, shedding and looks leaner and not so pregnant… This is 4 weeks on Soy bean meal and soaked hay.
