Is alfalfa hay good to feed? I have Fescue and orchard grass hay that my horses are not happy about. They love alfalfa hay though. I do soak it before giving it to them.

It depends on what you call, “good.” What horses like the most is the sugar in the hay so the sweetness of the alfalfa may be the attractant.
The best way to understand this is to dig into the nutrition course which is included in your membership. Also, to make things easier to find, search the forums using the search box on the forum page. You can also select a forum relating to your question and start a “Discussion” within that forum for all to comment on.
