Roman Nose
The profile of a horse head with a “Roman Nose” has the angle of the top of the skull, from the eyes to the nose, with a gentle convex shape so that the line from the eyes to the nose slightly rises before it falls. In most horses, this line is usually flat (straight) or is sometimes convex (“dished in”).
A Roman nose is common in Standardbreds, Andelusians and PREs as well as some draft breeds. I find these horses to be very intelligent and filled with common sense, but for some, they can be stubborn.
