Dirty Horses

What is there to say about dirty horses? They seem to prefer being dirty! However, using horses requires them to be somewhat clean.

These images remind us that keeping horses clean is part of owning them. Why? Because they are not living in a “natural” environment. Behind a fence or in a barn, confinement plus dirt leads to skin problems.

Grooming is also a way to get to know and understand how to communicate with horses. Most like being groomed. It also takes your mind off troubles in your life or in the world. Grooming and cleaning are medicine for your mind!
